Portland lives in the Intracoastal West area of Jacksonville with her husband Chris and two daughters, Dori and Viola. She is an adoptive mother and loves to tell their story of adoption so you need only ask. She enjoys being outdoors with her family including their two dogs, Pepe and Penny, and their cat Fritz. All three are of course rescues. Portland loves animals. She and Chris often foster abandoned animals. She fostered Pepe’s momma when pregnant. They kept Pepe and found homes for all the others puppies as well as momma. Penny was found off Alta Rd in a cardboard box after an open house of Portland’s. Their cat Fritz was tossed out of a moving car in front of their home at 5 weeks old.  He made a full recovery and now he runs the show. Portland is involved with various rescue organization in Northeast Florida so if you are looking to adopt a needy pet or you know of an animal in need of help please give her a call.
